Dr. Ken Johnson
President
With an extensive background in advanced research and development, strategic management, commercialization and business development, Dr. Johnson leads Solidica's continued growth in the multiple markets it serves. Commencing his tenure with the company in 2004, then as Vice President, Strategic Development, Dr. Johnson was key in expanding Solidica's product portfolio and expanding its customer base into several key new markets. Prior to joining Solidica, Dr. Johnson was a Commercialization Executive with Delphi Corporation in Troy, MI, where he led a variety of new venture development activities. Dr. Johnson holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Loughborough University-England, a Masters of Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and a Bachelors of Science in Engineering from Olivet Nazarene University.

John Ford

John Ford is responsible for
Solidica’s financial operations
including accounting, finance,
planning, tax, and investor
relations. Prior to joining
Solidica, Mr. Ford was Vice
President of Finance and held other
senior executive positions at
Arbortext, a venture-funded company
based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mr.
Ford played an integral role in
helping Arbortext reach significant
revenue growth, and in selling the
company to Parametric Technology
Corporation in 2005. Earlier in his
career, Mr. Ford also held
management positions in management
information systems and product
management at the Network Services
Division of ADP. Mr. Ford holds a
Bachelor's degree from Yale
University and a Master of Business
Administration from the University
of Michigan.

Dr. Dawn White
Founder & Senior Technology
Advisor
Upon creating, developing and patenting the breakthrough Ultrasonic Consolidation (UC) process, Dr. White founded Solidica in December 1999. Providing senior leadership to the continued advancements and broad application of UC, Dr. White lends daily insight and council to Solidica's scientific and product development team.
Prior to founding Solidica, Dr. White was a Staff Technical Specialist and Team Leader at Ford's Research Labroratory, where she managed research groups in the area of rapid tooling, advanced welding technology and process improvements in cycle-time reduction. Her background includes research metallurgy at the US Army Construction Engineering Research Lab, as well as extensive publications, case-studies, and academic contributions to the world's material science community.

Rick Fortson
Vice President, New Product
Development
Mr. Fortson is responsible for the technical leadership and development of Solidica's Pantheon system - the company's wireless sensing and telematics platform solution. His experience spans over 20 years in prognostics/diagnostics sensing systems, wireless network sensors, and advanced sensor-based algorithm implementation.
Prior to joining Solidica, Mr. Fortson played key roles in developing telematics, wireless and CAN-based networking solutions for a wide array of markets including automotive, military, commercial vehicles, as well as consumer products.

Larry Mayotte
Vice President, Operations
Responsible for Solidica’s production operations and supply chain management, Mr. Mayotte joined the company in 2006, bringing with him extensive engineering, supplier quality, and operations experience. Prior to joining Solidica, Mr. Mayotte was an Engineering/Transition Manager with Eaton Automotive, where he led production engineering, supplier quality, and divisional project management initiatives in high volume fuel safety markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University.

John McGinnis
Vice President, Pantheon Product Group
Leading Solidica’s commercial development in the military market since 2006, Mr. McGinnis brings an extensive background in military requirements and in-depth understanding of military infrastructure.
Prior to joining Solidica, Mr. McGinnis was President of MDCS Corporation managing several advanced technology initiatives within Marine Corps Systems Command and the U.S. Army’s Tank and Automotive Armaments Command. Mr. McGinnis, a Lieutenant Colonel, has served in the United States Marine Corps for over nineteen years, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Michigan State University.

Lee Ann Schwope
Director, Advanced Materials Group
Leading Solidica's Advanced Materials
Group, Ms. Schwope brings a background in
technology transition from research to
production, ISO 9001:2000 implementation and
certification, as well as extensive
Department of Defense contract management
experience. Prior to joining the Solidica
team, Ms. Schwope was one of the developers
for a SAPI (Small Arms Protective Insert)
armor technology program with Excera
Materials Group, where she oversaw quality
systems. She holds a Bachelor of Science in
Materials Science & Engineering from The
Ohio State University.
